Density is a physical property of matter, and by knowing the density of a mixture you can often infer other properties of the mixture. The vibrating element method is one way of measuring the density of a gas that can be used in power, pulp and paper, refining, and chemical industries. Yokogawa's presentation goes over the theory behind vibrating element technology and explores some of the applications in which it can be used.
In this webinar, we will review:
- The theory behind density and vibrating element technology
- The importance of using compensated density
- How to clean the detector
- Hydrogen purity and applications to look for
- The history of the density measurement
