K-Patents Process Refractometers for Oil Refining and Natural-Gas Processing Industries

Posted by TechStar on Jun 6, 2018 3:05:55 PM

K-Patents provides Process Refractometers for accurate in-line refractive index measurements to improve oil and gas refinery operations such as interface detection at gathering and transportation operations, sulfuric acid alkylation, amine gas treating, gas dehydration and lube oil production.

The purpose is to eliminate sampling, improve product consistency and operations safety and help to optimize the process. Uniform product quality and minimum waste can be achieved by continuous monitoring. Unlike periodical sampling, continuous monitoring can provide instant feedback as to changes in the process. This instant feedback can then be used to control the process in real-time.

K-Patents also provides full range of start-up, commissioning and technical support services to our customers. Our oil and gas industry expertise include supply of extensive vendor documentation that is tailored and applied to each contract and client specific data requirements. Furthermore, our extensive control of all activities in oil and gas industry procurement process secures quality supply of products, contracted services and documentation.

PR-23-RP K-Patents Process Refractometer PR-23-RP
A heavy-duty, non-weld sensor body model for large pipe and vessel installations. Installation either directly by welding stud, or via a 1 inch, 2 inch or 3 inch cross flow cell. Intrinsically safe and hazardous area certification is provided for harazdous areas.

PR-23-GP K-Patents Process Refractometer PR-23-GP
An all-purpose refractometer for large pipe and vessel installations. Installation through a flange or a clamp connection. Area classification Zone 2 (Class I, Div. 2); Intrinsically safe process refractometer PR-23-GP-IA Area classification Zone 0 and Zone 1.

PR-23-GP K-Patents Compact Process Refractometer PR-23-GC
A general industry compact refractometer for the small pipeline and bypass line applications. Installed in the process either directly in a pipe elbow by a Sandvik coupling connection or in a straight pipe via a Wafer flow cell or a Pipe flow cell. Economical option when higher alloys and special wetted parts materials are required. Intrinsically safe and hazardous area certification is provided for hazardous areas.
