Fox Thermal - New Model FT4X

The Model FT4X is an exciting new addition to the Fox Thermal Instruments’ Product Line. The Model FT4X flow meter has many new and exciting features including a new standard Data Logger. The Data Logger records daily totals and date/time stamped events and alarms. The advanced features of the Model FT4X Data Logger include:

• 40 daily totals
• Settable Contract Time
• Time/date stamped alarm & event logs; 7 year history
• Power off totalizer; power failure creates event log entry

The logs in the Model FT4X Data Logger also give information about the meter’s settings and functionality:

• View the meter’s gas or gas mix composition log
• View the meter’s configuration log
• View Calibration Validation historical test data
• View and print event and alarm logs

The Model FT4X has a smart design with features that are also available on the FT4A model. These include the 2^nd generation DDC-Sensor™ (Direct Digitally Controlled sensor) and the Gas-SelectX® gas selection menu with three gas menus: Pure Gases, Gas Mix, and Oil & Gas Mix.  Since the launch of the Model FT4A, ethane has been added to the Gas Mix menu! The FT4X is FM/FMc, ATEX, and IECEx approved and includes built-in CAL-V™ Calibration Validation. Additionally, the Model FT4X is available with Remote Display Housing.

The FT4X can be used in all the same applications as the other Fox products, but it was specifically designed to cater to the Oil & Gas industry and have a simple ordering process and faster turnaround time.  Initially, the lead time will be 3 to 4 weeks, and within 60 days, a one week lead time will be established.
