Overview

A typical upstream VRU includes:

  • Crude oil storage tanks

  • Scrubber to remove entrained liquids
  • Compressor or eductor

  • Sales gas pipeline

Oxygen analyzers are commonly installed on the recovered gas stream leaving the VRU to continuously verify gas quality before entering downstream processing.
